How we helped an AI automation agency book 60 sales calls and start 40 trials in a single month

We built Two in the Loop a cold email system that, in a single month, put 60 sales calls on the calendar and turned 40 of them into live trial projects, a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities from a standing start.

About Two in the Loop

Two in the Loop is an AI company founded by brothers Henry and Nando Theeßen, based in Potsdam, Germany. It builds local AI systems for law firms, tax advisors, recruitment firms and auditors, professions where client confidentiality is a hard legal obligation rather than a preference. Its premise is pointed: even the legal-AI tools on the market send client data to US data centres, which for anyone bound by professional secrecy is a non-starter. The answer is to run everything on site. A powerful workstation server sits directly inside the firm, modern open-weight models such as Llama and Mistral run entirely on that hardware, and no client data ever leaves the firm's own infrastructure, delivered as a turnkey service with no in-house IT required.

The work itself is deeply practical. The system analyses briefs and contracts, reconciles tax assessments against returns, drafts correspondence and annual accounts in the firm's own style, and makes a firm's entire back-catalogue of past cases searchable in natural language, all under a strict "human in the loop" principle where nothing leaves without a professional's review, and built bespoke to each firm rather than sold off the shelf. Behind it is Henry, who studied business informatics at TU Berlin and sits at the rare intersection of configuring GPU workstations and running LLM environments himself while also talking to firm leadership about confidentiality obligations and concrete workflows. The result is a genuinely differentiated offer in a market full of generic AI wrappers.

Client Challenges

Two in the Loop had a strong product and a sharp wedge into a real, underserved market. What it didn't have was a reliable way to reach the firms that needed it. Selling highly technical, on-premise AI into law, tax and recruiting practices means getting in front of cautious, time-poor decision-makers, partners and firm leaders who are sceptical of AI hype and fiercely protective of their data. A good website and word of mouth only go so far; without a proactive way to open conversations at volume, growth stays slow and unpredictable.

The niche sharpened the problem. The ideal customer is specific, regulated professional-services firms of a certain size and mindset, so a spray-and-pray approach was never going to work; every conversation had to be with the right kind of firm. And because this is a considered, higher-value purchase, Henry and Nando didn't need more clicks or vanity metrics. They needed a steady flow of genuinely qualified sales calls, the kind they could convert into trials and learn from.

In short, they needed a predictable outbound engine: one that could reach exactly the right firms at scale, cut through the noise with a message that actually resonated with sceptical professionals, and reliably land qualified calls on the calendar.

Our Solutions

We built Two in the Loop a cold email system engineered to do one thing dependably: put a steady stream of qualified law, tax and recruiting firms on their calendar, turning outbound from a guessing game into a predictable source of pipeline.

1. Targeting exactly the right firms

We defined the precise universe Two in the Loop should be reaching, the regulated professional-services firms where the clash between AI productivity and client confidentiality is felt most sharply, and made sure every message landed with a decision-maker who had both the problem and the authority to act. With a specific, higher-value offer, precision mattered far more than raw volume.

2. A message that resonates with sceptical professionals

Cautious buyers ignore hype, so we didn't lead with it. We built messaging that opened with the prospect's real concern, client data leaving the building, and positioned Two in the Loop's local, no-data-sharing approach as the obvious answer. That relevance is what earned replies from busy partners instead of being written off as more AI noise.

3. An engine built for qualified calls at volume

Reaching the right person is only half the battle. We wrapped a repeatable process around the whole journey so interest converted into booked calls consistently rather than occasionally, the kind of pipeline Henry and Nando could actually run trials off and improve their conversion from, month after month.

Michal gets you from 0 to 1

I cannot recommend Michal enough. We hired him for our GTM-strategy for our AI-automation agency and it was worth every penny. We had a lot of ideas in our heads about GTM, but it never really clicked. Michal's real talent is taking what is already in your head and helping you tie it all together into an incredibly compelling offer. Thanks to the foundations we built with him, we are always able to fill up our calendars with sales calls.

In a single month of outreach, the system reached 9,585 prospects and turned cold contact into a real pipeline: 86 positive replies, 60 sales calls booked, and 58 of those 60 actually showing up, an almost unheard-of show-up rate. Of those conversations, 40 converted into live trial projects, giving Henry and Nando not just a full calendar but a genuine base of engaged prospects to refine their product and sharpen conversion with. From a standing start, outbound went from non-existent to the company's most consistent source of qualified opportunities.

“We really kicked it off with our cold email campaigns and managed to book 60 sales calls with potential customers. Out of those 60, we ran 40 trials.”
